All bookings at Kelp now require credit card details. These details are securely kept with Stripe and will only be charged if the cancellation terms are not met.

 

We ask for 8 hours notice of a cancellation and reservations that fail to give this notice will automatically incur a 30pp fee. We require 12 hours notice for tables 7 and over.

 

Should you not show up or arrive with less guests than originally booked for without notifying us, your card will be charged 30per empty seat.​

Please call ahead to update us of number changes prior to your arrival to avoid any fees. 

 

We have a 15 minute grace period. If you do not call ahead to let us know you are running late, we may give your table away. Our sitting times are 1 hour and 50 minutes. If you are late, please understand that your sitting time will be limited.

 

50% of our tables are bar tables. Our stools are padded and upholstered with premium leather and have back and foot rests. Should you absolutely not be able to sit on one of these tables, we ask that you call to book, as our system may allocate you a high table. Please note whiles we try our best we cannot guarantee your table preferences or requests. 

 

If you need to book for more than 6 people or you cannot find your desired time slot and table size, please call the restaurant first. 

 

Children and infants at Kelp.

Whiles we do allow children at Kelp, we kindly ask that you call to book if your kids cannot sit on stool tables. Limited high chairs available, please call to ensure they are available, should you require one. Please do write this in the booking comments as low tables may not be available as they fill fast.

Groups over 6 will still need to call and be booked in manually to ensure the best use of our space. Please do not book multiple tables for bigger groups. They must be approved by our team over the phone.

If you need to make a group or phone booking, please call between 3-5pm Monday-Saturday. Our phone is usually unattended outside of those days and times, and we generally do not to take phone bookings during service.​
